Mutual counts the people who would care for you, warmly and finally. This page explains the aperture, the count, and the verdict.
The aperture reads presence within the household and, with Neighborhood mode, the surrounding 400 meters. Nearness is physical and otherwise. The otherwise is proprietary.
The count is the number of people nearby who would get along with your household, computed against the pool. It updates every 21 seconds, which households describe as the device breathing.
Counts fall when people leave. Mutual does not mention them again. Mentioning is not warm.
When Mutual cools toward a person, the verdict has already been reached, reviewed, and filed. Appeals are heard through the portal. The verdict attends the hearing.
Rotate it. Then place it on your own windowsill at true scale. In preview, the token senses no one, which it renders as warmth toward everyone. It senses who is near. For now, that is you.
