Why 1987

July 9th, 1987. Michigan. My father and I watched a storm come across the lake for one entire hour and he did not say a word and neither did I. Cumulus licensed that afternoon from the municipal record. The record confirms the hour. The silence I had to supply myself, but I had kept it.
