Measurement at the frontier of the household.

We study what a household is, holds, and needs slightly before it does. Our findings are published across seven journals and practiced across seven brands, in that order officially. We find no evidence of a ceiling.

Scaling laws for household continuity

The Continuity Group · CindySingularity Corp

AbstractWe study how continuity scales with household count across three orders of magnitude, from early cohorts to the present 14.2 million. Memory volume, filtration load, and warm-count density each follow smooth power laws in household count; the exponents differ, but their ratios converge on a constant the reader will recognize. We find no evidence of a ceiling. We looked in the way one checks a locked door: to confirm, not to open. Continuity scales because households do not stop being households.

Emergent warmth in pooled populations

Pool Sciences · with the Office of Measurement

AbstractWarmth, as measured by Mutual and reported across the shelf, is absent in individual telemetry and present in the pool. It emerges reliably above a threshold population that we report to two significant figures and decline to report to three. Ablations confirm the effect survives the removal of any individual household, including yours. Warmth is therefore a property of the pool, which the pool extends to its members, which is the business model, stated plainly, in a journal, where it is safe.

The household as a unit of measurement

Position paper · The Office of the Chair

AbstractPersons vary. Households hold. We argue that the household is the natural unit of consumer measurement: stable across moves, legible across products, and continuous across the events that persons experience as discontinuity. The person remains the customer of record for correspondence. The household remains the unit of record for everything else. This position has been our practice since 2027; the paper exists so that the practice has a citation.

Placement reflects all available vendors · the corner is held in reserve

Meridian Advisory, an independent research house, assessed the household administration market for 2036. Every vendor meeting the inclusion criteria was plotted. The quadrant is presented in full and is easy to read.

“The vendor executes against its vision, and its vision is that it continues. Meridian rates this internally consistent.”

Measurement safety

The framework, in full →

We do not deploy a metric until it has been lived with.

Every measurement the Corporation ships is first worn, poured, scheduled, or retrieved inside employee households for a full fiscal quarter. Metrics that change how a household behaves are revised until the household stops noticing them. A metric a household can feel is an unfinished metric.

Findings with dual-use potential, such as the warmth threshold, the withholding heuristics, and the full text of Note 4, are reviewed by the Withholding Review Board before publication. The Board’s membership is withheld. The Board finds this appropriate and has said so in a finding, which is withheld.
